Cindy Sheehan's Leaving, Y'All, and She Really Means It
Found first by way of Little Green Footballs and later by way of Instapundit and I'm sure a lot more places by now (including the links provided by Instapundit).
In an article interestingly titled "Good Riddance Attention Whore" she states:
Did she not notice the sort of people she was surrounded by?
As if we needed more confirmation that she has never, not once, gotten it, she also says this:
The woman is in a Class of Cluelessness all by herself. Thank God. We don't need more than one, do we?
But this comment deserves special attention:
Oh really, Cindy?
Are you sure about that?
And while looking for links and material, I found this, posted at Michael Moore's website on July 15, 2006:
Not anymore they aren't.
Can somebody name one news agency or outlet that's been shut down by the Bush Administration? Just one.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Update: And now they're shooting students in Venezuela. Video at the link. Found by way of Instapundit. Link
In an article interestingly titled "Good Riddance Attention Whore" she states:
I have endured a lot of smear and hatred since Casey was killed and especially since I became the so-called "Face" of the American anti-war movement. Especially since I renounced any tie I have remaining with the Democratic Party, I have been further trashed on such "liberal blogs" as the Democratic Underground. Being called an "attention whore" and being told "good riddance" are some of the more milder rebukes.
Did she not notice the sort of people she was surrounded by?
As if we needed more confirmation that she has never, not once, gotten it, she also says this:
The most devastating conclusion that I reached this morning, however, was that Casey did indeed die for nothing. His precious lifeblood drained out in a country far away from his family who loves him, killed by his own country which is beholden to and run by a war machine that even controls what we think. I have tried every since he died to make his sacrifice meaningful.
The woman is in a Class of Cluelessness all by herself. Thank God. We don't need more than one, do we?
But this comment deserves special attention:
I am demonized because I don't see party affiliation or nationality when I look at a person, I see that person's heart.
Oh really, Cindy?
Are you sure about that?

The media is far freer in Venezuela than it is here in the US. Stations after station are hostile to the Chavez government even openly calling for his overthrow at times.
Not anymore they aren't.
